Manali is important hill station of northern India and main attraction for the tourists also. Manali is situated along the bank of the Beas and located at an altitude of 2050m. - Hadimba Devi Hadimba or Dhungiri Devi temple in Manali is one of the famous and most important temple in the Manali. It is situated in the mid of the forest called the Dhungiri Van Vihar. Hadimba temple is dedicated to the goddess-tutned-demoness Hadimba, wife of Bhima. It is tod that Bhima fell in love with her and killed her sister in order to marry Hadimba.
- Vashishtha baths Due to the medicinal power Vashishtha baths is very famous place among the people and so large number of people come here for a bath as water of the spring is supposed to cure several diseases.
- Tibetan Monastery Here large number of immigrants from Tibetan lived and they produce various kinds of handicrafts that attract the tourist toward it.
- Arjun Gufa is also the most famous tourist place in Manali. It is located at a distance of 15 km from the Manali town area. Thi Arjun Gufa is an ideal spot for a daylong visit. According to a legend, Arjuna, one of the Pandavas, used to practice stringent meditation here to attain the powerful Pashupata Ashtra (a powerful weapon used in warfare).
- Keylong is the headquarter of Lahaul and Spiti and is located at an altitude of 3,350 metres. Many visitors use to stay at Keylong during thie visti for some places near Keylong link Rohtang Pass, Koksar, Tandi and Sissu.
- Rohtang Pass is situated at an altitude of 3979 meters abve sea level and 51 km outside Manali. It is the gateway to Lahaul-Spiti valley and opened for about four months a year. The main attraction for the tourist are Rohtangs mountains. Sonapani glacier and Dashohar Lake is also a few km away from the pass.
